Responsibilities
- Avoid food safety and quality issues by reducing rejection trends.
- Improve hygiene, GMP, and safety audits week over week.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Interact effectively with the team and take direction from Machine Operators.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications, quality, and food safety.
- Drive the production process to meet targeted outputs through effective control of the manufacturing process.
- Communicate effectively with the entire team.
- Maintain a positive safety culture by ensuring health and safety requirements are met.
- Walk the talk by using "looking eyes" and addressing issues promptly.
- Promote the Froneri culture of employees being owners rather than just employees.
- Follow the principle of "would I do this to my home?"
- Report faults and issues to the maintenance team during handovers.
- Implement quality and improvement initiatives.
- Reduce accidents and incidents on a year-over-year basis.
- De-kit the line and ensure all packaging is returned to the warehouse.
- Check the line after cleaning and store all tools in the correct places.
- No stagnant water left in any equipment.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, math, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
- One-year related experience (preferred).
