About the role
Thrift World is a leading thrift store chain dedicated to providing affordable and sustainable fashion options to our customers. With a wide selection of clothing, accessories, and household items, we strive to promote eco-friendly shopping practices and support the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the store, including handling cash transactions and ensuring security protocols are followed
- Supervising and motivating a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
- Keeping the store clean and organized
- Resolving customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and efficient manner
- Executing store policies and procedures to ensure a smooth operation
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment, with at least 2 years in a proven leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Passion for thrift shopping and sustainable fashion
