About the role

IT’SUGAR is expanding rapidly with over 100 locations nationwide, aiming to provide a joyful shopping experience. The company offers a unique blend of unconventional candy products, vibrant ambiance, and enthusiastic staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers with requests and inquiries.
• Follow the customer engagement model, SUGARTAINMENT, ensuring the sales floor is clean and organized.
• Operate POS/register to properly cash out all customers.
• Achieve sales goals by suggesting additional products and explaining product information.
• Maintain store cash handling records and assist in opening and closing procedures.
• Merchandise displays to visual guidelines and assist in special event set-ups.
• Support loss prevention efforts and communicate LP issues to the Store Manager.
• Perform operational responsibilities such as sales floor/backroom/restroom maintenance, cleaning, mopping, etc.
• Embody core values of positivity, playfulness, presence, and making a difference.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 6 months in a similar retail role preferred.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to use a POS/cash register.
• Standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, lifting up to 25 lbs., and lifting up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
