Key Account Project Manager
Project Leadership and Delivery
Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of major capital projects and programs throughout the United States. Manage projects through all phases, including: Programming, Planning, Feasibility studies, Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Occupancy and closeout. Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies. Ensure alignment of project objectives with client goals and organizational priorities. Maintain accountability for project performance regarding scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety.
Budget and Financial Management
Develop and maintain project budgets and cost-control procedures. Monitor expenditures, commitments, forecasts, and contingency utilization. Evaluate and negotiate change orders and scope modifications. Ensure effective financial reporting and project controls are maintained. Identify cost-saving opportunities while preserving project quality and performance objectives.
Schedule Management
Establish and maintain master project schedules. Monitor critical path activities and major project milestones. Implement schedule recovery plans when necessary. Coordinate planning efforts among design consultants, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. Ensure timely project completion through proactive management and issue resolution.
Risk Management
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct regular project risk assessments. Manage project issues, claims, disputes, and change management processes. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards. Minimize project disruptions through proactive planning and stakeholder engagement.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
Ensure adherence to established quality management standards. Monitor project compliance with: Building codes, Regulatory requirements, Industry standards, Client specifications, Contract requirements. Support quality audits, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
Safety Leadership
Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence. Support implementation of project-specific safety plans and compliance programs. Monitor safety performance and corrective action initiatives. Collaborate with contractors and project teams to ensure safe working environments.
Team Leadership and Mentorship
Lead multidisciplinary project teams across multiple geographic locations across the Geotechnical, Environmental, and Construction Services service lines. Mentor project engineers, assistant project managers, design managers, construction managers, and project coordinators. Encourage professional growth, teamwork, collaboration, and accountability. Foster a high-performance culture focused on project success and client satisfaction.
