Key Account Manager Productivity Solution and Services
About the role
As a Key Account Manager at Brady Corp, you will drive revenue growth, develop sales strategies, build customer relationships, and provide strategic insights to senior management. This remote role involves being the front-line seller who identifies and generates opportunities for diverse customers, fosters client satisfaction through regular contact, and manages customer expectations. You will maintain and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system, offer competitive intelligence and market trends, and provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP).
This position requires a minimum of 50% travel within the territory.
Responsibilities
- Attend trade shows, seminars, and events to develop customer relationships
- Visit customers and search for new customers
- Manage campaigns and provide customer reporting
- Educate customers on Brady Corp’s products through technical presentations
- Maintain customer account management
- Provide competitive intelligence and market trends
- Deliver forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP)
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a selling role, preferably in productivity solution services
- Proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices
- Excellent team and communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
- Ability to influence across a broader organization and maintain healthy customer relationships
- Significant experience in selling industrial products
- Deep technical expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a technical discipline (or 7-10 years of applicable sales experience in lieu of a degree)
