Key Account Manager, Biosurgery- Miami/Ft. Lauderdale
Job Purpose Summary
We are seeking a Key Account Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team. This role will drive sales growth, account projects, and advocate for the development of products and services within territory accounts. Key customers will include surgeons, associated medical personnel, and relevant stakeholders to achieve territory objectives.
What you will do
- Achieve sales quotas through the direct selling of all Corza Biosurgery products and services.
- Identify, qualify, prepare, and execute effective sales strategies that maintain the existing base of business and support the close of competitive and revenue growth opportunities.
- Lead territory development and activities that translate to accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual projections. Maintain sole ownership of providing accurate forecasts to the Area Sales Director each reporting period for their territory.
- Propose responsible expenditures for local meetings and customer education activities.
- Develop, negotiate, close, and manage profitable agreements.
- Increase awareness and educate physicians on the accurate use of Corza Medical products in on-label surgical procedures and provide clinical support in the Operating Room.
- Absorb trends in disease state management, competitor's strategies, and new product development by monitoring internal (e.g., sales growth, product mix and pricing trends) and external indicators (e.g., competitor's activities, new technologies, social media platforms, journals and newsletters).
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of related programs and value-added offerings, such as CEU programs, Health Economic models/tools, and various training simulations.
- Effectively deliver strategic messaging in a variety of settings, including trade shows, presentations, and internal Corza meetings.
- Market surveillance, gain and share customer insights, and provide competitive intelligence that would contribute to effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders including all levels of management within hospitals (i.e., Material Management to C-Suite), physicians, and Surgical personnel.
- Conduct post-sales activities, including implementation, product education, in-servicing, and ongoing support.
- Consistently maintain all Vendor Credentialing requirements.
- Become a subject matter expert and trusted client advisor for our products.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related area, with 5+ years of medical device sales.
- Experience with hospital-based selling in the operating room and leading a large territory.
- Expertise delivering hands-on clinician training.
- Established professional relationships with key surgeons and Procurement Management.
- Proven sales capability that includes drive and self-motivation, strong interpersonal and communication skills, the capacity to work autonomously, ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and close business.
- At least 50% travel is required and may involve visits to remote areas either individually or with other personnel as the position will have a geography which may span several states.
- Familiarity with posted territory is a required pre-requisite.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this role is $200,000 - $225,000 (base + commission uncapped). Further, pay is offered based on geographic location, internal equity, market data, applicant’s job-related skills, commensurate experience, required licensures, certifications, and certain degrees.
