Kennel Worker

Key Responsibilities

• Feed and provide fresh water to dogs according to individual instructions
• Clean and disinfect kennels, play areas, and common spaces
• Monitor dogs for signs of illness, stress, or injury and report concerns to management
• Administer medications as directed (if trained)
• Supervise group or individual play sessions
• Bathe dogs as needed
• Maintain accurate feeding, medication, and behavior records
• Greet customers and assist with check-in and check-out as needed
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Experience working with dogs or in animal care is preferred
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments is required
• Comfortable working in a physically active environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs) is essential
• A reliable, punctual, and ability to work weekends and holidays is necessary
• A strong attention to detail and good communication skills are required
