About the role

North Davidson Veterinary Hospital is a long-standing facility in the Lexington / Welcome area, dedicated to serving clients and their pets for over forty years. They are currently seeking experienced staff to join their compassionate and caring team.

Responsibilities

• Lifting up to 50# without assistance
• Feeding, watering, and walking animals in all weather conditions
• Cleaning cages, runs, sweeping/mopping, washing dishes, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining outside grounds
• Aiding technicians during downtime
• Scheduling boarding appointments over the phone and in the computer

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to easily lift 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Education

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Pay

Hours are from 10:00am-7:00pm Monday-Friday, rotating weekends from 7:00am-11:00am and 2:00pm-6:00pm on Saturdays, and 7:00am-10:00am and 4:00pm-6:00pm on Sundays. Job Type: Full-Time: 40 hours per week (including weekend and holiday rotations)

Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 10:00am-7:00pm
• Rotating weekends: 7:00am-11:00am and 2:00pm-6:00pm
• Sundays: 7:00am-10:00am and 4:00pm-6:00pm
