Position Details
Role: Pet Care Attendant
Status: Full-time
Salary: $15-$18 an hour
Schedule: Varying shifts 6:45 am-2:45 pm, 12:45 pm-8:30 pm, 1:45 pm-8:30 pm, and 9 am-6 pm

What You’ll Do
- Observe pets for overall health, comfort, and signs of illness or distress
- Safely handle and restrain animals as needed
- Walk boarded dogs throughout the day for exercise and elimination needs
- Feed, medicate, and care for boarding pets according to instructions
- Bathe, groom, and provide daily care for pets staying with us
- Maintain accurate records regarding feeding schedules, behavior, and observations
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain kennels, cages, suites, and common areas
- Wash and sanitize food and water bowls
- Launder towels, blankets, and bedding
- Ensure pets and personal belongings are properly identified and organized
Physical Requirements
- Frequently bend, stand, stoop, walk, sit, communicate, and listen throughout the workday
- Frequently use hands and arms to handle and restrain animals safely
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in an active environment that requires stamina and mobility
