HVAC Technician

To join our team as an HVAC Technician!

About the role

We partner with a regional utility company to implement a demand response program utilizing load control receivers attached to customers' AC units. You will be providing QAQC of load control devices and subsequent service and removal when needed. You will be informing the customer and educating them on program details upon customer request.

Responsibilities

• QAQC of load control devices
• Service and removal of load control devices as needed
• Informing customers about program details upon request
• Performing residential home energy audits and diagnostic testing to identify efficiency opportunities and improve overall home performance
• Conducting building assessments
• Operating diagnostic equipment (e.g., blower doors and combustion safety tools)
• Documenting findings
• Recommending energy-saving measures to customers
• Working directly with homeowners to ensure a positive customer experience
• Supporting the program goals for safety, quality, and energy savings

Requirements

• Based around Council Bluffs/Omaha area
• Associate degree in HVAC certification or NATE certification
• 1-3 years of relevant industry experience or a combination of training, education, and work experience in a related field
• Valid drivers license

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented
• Confident in troubleshooting AC issues
• Ability to observe and record information accurately
