About the role
A fast-paced kennel connected to a well-established companion animal practice in West Chester, Ohio is looking for a part-time Kennel Technician.
Responsibilities
- Leash walking small and large dogs
- Feeding and medicating both dogs and cats
- Bathing dogs
- Cleaning and sanitizing the kennel and runs
- Interacting with clientele during drop-off and pick-up procedures
- Using the computer system to make reservations and check clients in and out
Requirements
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with computers
- Ability to walk large and small dogs
- Own reliable transportation
- Knowledge of basic pet care and husbandry
- Previous experience as a kennel technician is preferred
- Availability to work on holidays, weekends, and day/evening hours during the week
Pay
$14.00–15.00 per hour
Schedule
- Part-time
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Holidays
