Responsibilities

• Showing up on time to your shift
• Cleaning and setting up kennels for dogs
• Cleaning litter boxes and setting up kennels for cats
• Scheduling boarding reservations
• Checking boarding reservations in and out
• Walking dogs
• Ensuring all pets are fed and have water
• Giving medications to pets as needed
• Ensuring all pets are safe and comfortable while their owners are away
• General hospital cleaning duties
• Assisting clients with pet food purchases

Qualifications

• Passion for working with dogs/cats and understanding basic behavior.
• Comfortable handling multiple dogs/cats of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
• Ability to work in a physically active environment (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Strong communication skills to interact with both dogs and their owners.
• Willingness to clean and maintain hygiene standards.
• This job is perfect for someone who works well alone but can be a good team player.
• Animal experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person!
• This position is every weekend and some holidays, it is perfect for someone looking for part-time hours, including high school students!

Schedule & Hours

Part-Time | ~10 hours/week. Saturday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Sunday: 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Holidays required: 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Additional weekday hours available when covering PTO
