Kennel Attendant

Every patient who walks through our doors deserves compassion, respect, and thoughtful attention. We are looking for a Part-Time Kennel Attendant to join our team and help create a clean, safe, and comforting environment for the pets staying in our care.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily care including fresh food, water, clean bedding, and attentive supervision
• Keeping kennels, runs, and animal areas clean, sanitized, and comfortable
• Walking dogs and providing enrichment and playtime
• Assisting with bathing and basic grooming when needed
• Monitoring pets for changes in behavior or health and reporting concerns to the veterinary team
• Replenishing supplies (food, bedding, cleaning materials - you name it)
• Helping with general housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and clinic cleaning
• Making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for during their stay

Requirements

You Might Be a Great Fit If You Have a genuine love for animals and a calm, patient presence, are dependable, responsible, and take pride in doing your work well, enjoy working as part of a team and supporting others, are comfortable staying active and moving throughout the day, do not mind getting a little messy and a lot of movement while helping animals, and are eager to learn and grow in a veterinary environment.
