Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care for boarding and daycare pets, ensuring they receive proper food, exercise, and attention.
  • Monitor the behavior and habits of pets in your care, reporting any unusual health concerns to the medical team.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized environment for the resort, including kennel areas and outside grounds.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the resort by managing inventory and collaborating with the team to complete tasks.

Requirements

  • A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
  • A reliable and hardworking nature, capable of handling a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations with composure.
  • The physical capacity to lift up to 50+ lbs and perform a physically active role.
  • Previous experience as a kennel assistant is preferred.
  • A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
  • Qualifications

    • A degree in veterinary technology or a related field.
    • Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (VTS).
    • Experience in surgical procedures and advanced medical care.
    • Knowledge of diagnostic testing and advanced care options.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
