About the role
Country View Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team! Our Kennel team is dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, clients, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Focus on janitorial and housekeeping duties, ensuring kennels, common spaces and treatment areas are sanitized and well stocked with supplies.
- Enjoy cleaning and organization, and committed to contributing to a team-focused environment.
- Ideal for those who are self-driven, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Reliable, friendly, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Sunday with weekends on rotation.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of kennel or animal handling experience.
- Commitment to a career in veterinary medicine with ongoing training.
- Proficiency in the following skills: Attention to detail, Caring for feline and canine pets, Time management, Walking and socialization for boarding pets, Cleaning and stocking, Documentation of medical treatments, medications, illness, etc.
