About the role

The Description Teacher will provide literacy coaching for Pre-K teachers at the site. They will attend monthly meetings and Professional Development (PD).

Responsibilities

• Deliver PD to adult Pre-K teachers
• Provide literacy coaching to Pre-K teachers

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree
• Valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire
• Active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements within 3 years of employment

Qualifications

• Background in Pre-K teaching
• Comfortable delivering PD to adults

• Ability to deliver effective literacy coaching

Pay

Compensation: 10-month teachers shall be compensated for the applicable Bargaining Unit 05 10-month salary schedule for working a 10-month work year.

Schedule

Payday is on the 5th and 20th (or previous business day) of every month.
