KC - Warehouse Material Handler - FT Weekend Shift - $19.25/hr

About the Role

Melaleuca is seeking Warehouse Material Handlers to move inventory throughout the plant while following all operating procedures and regulations. This full-time position is located in Kansas City, Missouri, on a non-smoking campus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training to become a certified Electric Pallet Jack operator.
• Maintain accurate counts of stock and supplies.
• Keep all areas behind the lines and in pack clean and free of hazards.
• Load customer orders on correct pallets and trailers according to BMC.
• Clean and organize the dock, including sweeping and organizing pallets.
• Store and organize material on the lines and in packs.
• Accurately distribute materials to various locations.
• Follow instructions from the Product Delivery Coordinator.
• Perform pre-work equipment inspections.
• Remove damaged product from the lines and move it to Returns1 for processing.
• Work in the box area, filling racks and keeping them supplied.
• Make X and W boxes on the box erector, switch between box sizes, and clean the machine.
• Operate a baler.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under stress.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for the duration of the shift.
• Pulling, stretching, bending, and lifting for the duration of the shift.
• Good vision to assess all aspects of the warehouse.
• Manual dexterity for duties such as stocking and lifting.
• Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to work as a team to achieve maximum performance.
• Ability to perform essential duties efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Pay

Starting pay at $18.25/hour plus a $1 shift differential, totaling $19.25/hour.
