About the role

Kava Massih Architects is a collaborative and highly creative firm headquartered in West Berkeley with work throughout the Bay Area and California and beyond. We are an established firm but not set in our ways. We continue to adapt and keep our work fresh and innovative. We are seeking a qualified architectural candidate with 4-year architectural degree (min.) and 4-5+ years of architectural experience. Multi-family residential experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept through construction documents
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and other professionals
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders
• Oversee the design process and ensure quality control
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements

• 4-year architectural degree (min.)
• 4-5+ years of architectural experience
• Strong technical ability with experience in both design and design documentation
• Experience in multi-family residential design
• Proficiency in Revit (preferred)
• Microsoft Office applications proficiency
• Adobe CS applications proficiency
• Licensed Architect and/or LEED accreditation (beneficial)
