Requirements
- Valid Special Education license from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board.
- Special education classroom experience in a K-12 school setting.
- Desired knowledge: Plan and facilitate IEP meetings; exercise independent and professional judgment; maintain an effective work pace under pressure; grasp new concepts quickly and apply them effectively; work effectively with others.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license upon hire.
- Enroll in a Program to continue employment with the Department.
- Satisfactorily demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements.
- Must have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire.

Pay
