Kaizen Specialist II
About the role
Responsible for supporting the development, deployment, and maintenance of performance improvement methods throughout WakeMed Health and Hospitals. This position, along with others, supports organizational strategic goals and objectives to improve performance in each of the aspirational goal categories. Support is provided by identifying opportunities for process improvement, managing and leading significant cross-departmental projects, and teaching, coaching, and mentoring individuals and project teams in improvement tools and methods such as Lean and Six Sigma.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred)
- 5 years of experience in performance improvement, healthcare, business operations, or quality/process improvement (required)
- Lean certification (preferred)
