K9 Resorts General Manager
Position Overview
General Manager LPHI at K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel. Full-time salary exempt position.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and resort team members. Own full-cycle talent management: hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance. Build a high-performance, accountability-driven culture. Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
Operations & Business Ownership: Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments. Ensure excellence in cleanliness, safety, and pet care standards. Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor efficiency. Maintain facility standards, vendor relationships, and inventory control.
Customer Experience & Sales: Set and uphold 5-Star service expectations across all interactions. Drive revenue through service offerings, client retention, and enrollment growth. Personally resolve high-level customer concerns. Monitor feedback and continuously improve the guest experience.
Marketing & Community Leadership: Act as a Brand Ambassador in the local community. Build partnerships with veterinarians, groomers, and pet-related businesses. Lead marketing initiatives to drive awareness and growth.
Financial & Performance Management: Own P&L performance and profitability. Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to drive results. Manage expenses, payroll, and budgeting. Identify trends and opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3–4+ years of management experience (pet care, hospitality, retail, or similar)
- Proven leadership in high-volume, service-driven environments
- Strong business acumen (P&L, labor, operations, performance metrics)
- Ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and develop talent
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on growth and results
- Valid driver’s license
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
