About the role
Village Elementary School is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Educational Technician III to provide targeted math intervention and support for elementary students.
Responsibilities
- Provide targeted math intervention and support to students in grades K-5.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and other school personnel to develop and implement effective math interventions.
- Assess student needs and progress regularly to adjust interventions as necessary.
- Support students in building confidence and strengthening foundational math skills.
- Create a supportive learning environment that fosters student success.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in education, special education, or a related field.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a classroom or intervention setting.
- Knowledge of current educational strategies and practices for math instruction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Valid Maine teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
- Experience with Response to Intervention (RTI) models.
- Proficiency in using technology tools for data collection and analysis.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Pay
$23.04 - $29.26 per hour
Schedule
Part-time position, flexible schedule to be determined based on school needs.
