About the role

Village Elementary School is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Educational Technician III to provide targeted math intervention and support for elementary students.

Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted math intervention and support to students in grades K-5.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and other school personnel to develop and implement effective math interventions.
  • Assess student needs and progress regularly to adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Support students in building confidence and strengthening foundational math skills.
  • Create a supportive learning environment that fosters student success.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in education, special education, or a related field.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in a classroom or intervention setting.
  • Knowledge of current educational strategies and practices for math instruction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Valid Maine teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
  • Experience with Response to Intervention (RTI) models.
  • Proficiency in using technology tools for data collection and analysis.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Pay

$23.04 - $29.26 per hour

Schedule

Part-time position, flexible schedule to be determined based on school needs.
