About the role

We are seeking an experienced K-12 tutor to work with students across Math, English, General Science, and Social Studies.

Responsibilities

• Assess each student's starting point
• Create a personalized study plan
• Teach core concepts
• Help students build accuracy, confidence, and a love of learning

Requirements

• A strong academic background
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience
• A clear, structured approach to breaking down complex problems

Qualifications

• Passionate about education and helping students succeed
• Ability to work independently and set one’s own hours and rates
• Experience with virtual teaching platforms
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs
• Knowledge of relevant subjects (Math, English, General Science, Social Studies)
