About the role

Chelan County Juvenile Center is seeking positive and motivated team members for the on-call Juvenile Detention Relief Worker position. This position provides for the programming and supervision of incarcerated youth, as well as facility safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Programming and supervision of incarcerated youth
• Facility safety and security

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Able to complete a background investigation including a polygraph examination
• Drug-free

Preferred qualifications

• Two years of college
• Ability to speak English and Spanish
• Flexible life or work schedules available for all shifts, including dayshift, nightshift, and weekends

Pay

Beginning wage $22.00/hour.

Benefits

Includes Washington State Sick Leave.

Schedule

The on-call position averages 20 hours per week, although hours are not guaranteed.
