About the role

This position involves providing ongoing health maintenance and clinical management, overseeing medical/nursing aspects of clinic operations, conducting physical examinations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments, making referrals, and following clients through established nursing care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing health maintenance and clinical management
• Oversees medical/nursing aspects of clinic operations
• Conducts physical examination, assessment, diagnosis and treatment
• Makes referrals and follows clients through established nursing care plans
• Writes standing orders and updates them in coordination with medical director
• Directs and assists in screening programs
• Acts as a consultant to other professionals
• Participates in in-service training and education
• Maintains records and reports
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• One year of nursing experience

Qualifications

• Current active RN license
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Arizona
• Current CPR certification
• Fingerprint clearance
