Responsibilities
As a Juvenile Correctional Facility Officer - Entry Access in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a government location, you will help manage entry points, screen visitors and belongings, verify credentials, and monitor activity to support a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service, use technology to document and communicate incidents, and may drive as part of assigned duties. - Provide customer service to staff, visitors, youth residents, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government juvenile services location.
- Control access to designated buildings, offices, and restricted areas by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
