Responsibilities
- Learn to execute preventive maintenance activities.
- Dismantle and remove engine/generator assemblies, transmissions, and other components as per supervisor’s instructions.
- Clean components, repair or rebuild, and assemble machines or mechanical components according to service manuals and supervisor’s instructions.
- Perform additional duties such as repair of hydraulic systems, cleaning, painting, and transporting components.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work location and tools.
- Ensure all equipment and products meet health and safety regulations.
- Comply with health, safety, and environment regulations.
- Complete all other tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma preferred; vocational certification in a mechanical or related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in mechanical work.
- Skilled in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers).
- Ability to read and follow instructions and established procedures.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically strong and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Willing to work overtime when required.
- MTU/ZF certification or experience is an advantage.
