About the Role
We are looking for recent graduates or early-career professionals with 0-2 years of experience to join our Business Intelligence team as a Junior Tableau Developer. The ideal candidate will assist in developing interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that help drive business decisions. This role is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on experience in Business Intelligence (BI), Data Visualization, SQL, and Tableau.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Create interactive visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret business and operational data.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
- Connect Tableau to multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, and cloud databases.
- Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy across reports.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
- Create calculated fields, parameters, filters, and dashboards in Tableau.
- Monitor dashboard performance and implement optimization techniques.
- Document reporting processes and dashboard specifications.
- Follow data governance, security, and reporting best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and BI technologies.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience or knowledge in Tableau Development or Business Intelligence.
- Strong understanding of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Public.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Basic knowledge of data visualization principles and dashboard design.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Basic understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Qualifications
- Exposure to Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Git and version control concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
