The Role
The Junior Systems Engineer is responsible for performing systems engineering tasks such as technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk studies, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. They also use tools to identify program requirements, track performance metrics, and manage the systems engineering process.Responsibilities
- Performing systems engineering using technical planning;
- System integration, verification and validation;
- Cost and risk studies;
- Supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems;
- Using tools to identify different program requirements;
- Tracking performance metrics;
- Managing the systems engineering process.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, entry level and up;
- Experience performing systems engineering;
- Familiar with requirements development and lifecycle process;
- Proficient in DOORS;
- Active DoD Secret Clearance;
- Must be a US citizen.
Desired Qualifications
- Master of Science in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or related field:
- Familiar with MBSE tools i.e., CAMEO, Magic Draw, etc.;
- Experience with requirements verification and validation process;
- Familiar with engineering documentation release processes.
