Key Responsibilities
- System Design & Implementation: Design, install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Maintenance: Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability
- Security & Redundancy: Implement and maintain robust security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans
- Automation & Scripting: Develop custom scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network components
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, management, and other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, procedures, and support
- Technology Evaluation: Research and assess emerging technologies for potential upgrades or new implementations
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in system engineering, testing, or DevOps roles
- C/I/C Knowledge: Proven experience configuring CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix, version control (Git), and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development practices
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with test frameworks
