Job Title: Junior Supply Chain EngineerLocation: RemoteCompliance Requirement: Must be a U.S. Person in accordance with ITAR regulations Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Junior Supply Chain Engineer to support supply chain operations, supplier coordination, project tracking, and performance reporting for aerospace and defense programs. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or project coordination and strong skills in Excel, data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with suppliers, procurement teams, customers, and program stakeholders to support on-time delivery and overall supply chain performance. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily supply chain execution and delivery assurance activities.Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders to obtain project and delivery updates.Monitor supplier commitments, production schedules, delivery plans, and recovery actions.Track risks, issues, constraints, and escalation items through resolution.Maintain project trackers, supplier databases, action-item logs, and delivery status records.Collect, validate, and consolidate data from multiple sources into standardized reports and dashboards.Prepare and maintain KPI dashboards and performance reports.Track metrics including:On-Time Delivery (OTD)Supplier PerformanceOpen CommitmentsRecovery Plan StatusQuality PerformanceAction-Item ClosureAnalyze trends and identify potential supply, capacity, schedule, and delivery risks.Support weekly and monthly project review meetings with accurate reporting and status updates.Facilitate supplier/customer status meetings and document action items.Communicate project and supplier performance updates to stakeholders.Escalate critical supply chain concerns to project or program leadership.Support continuous improvement, reporting standardization, and dashboard automation initiatives.Maintain project documentation in accordance with customer and program requirements. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Operations, or a related technical field.1 3 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or project coordination.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Preferred QualificationsAerospace or defense industry experience.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.Familiarity with Power BI, SharePoint, KPI reporting, and dashboard development.Understanding of supplier management, procurement, production planning, and supply chain operations.Experience supporting process improvement or reporting automation initiatives.
