Junior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of structural systems, ensuring they comply with national design codes, AISC, ASCE, and Welding standards.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop innovative solutions to complex structural problems.
• Conduct structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, and other materials using various design software.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, designs, and circuit diagrams.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates on project progress, potential risks, and solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Ensure all designs and projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Work closely with construction teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly and to resolve any issues that arise.
• Continually update and improve knowledge and skills in structural engineering and keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
• Proficient knowledge of national design codes, AISC, ASCE, and Welding.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficient in using structural design software.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
