This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be physically located in and have legal authorization to work in the United States, the United Kingdom, or Australia without employer-sponsored work authorization, now or in the future. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

About the role

QA Wolf is on a mission to help teams ship confidently by automating companies' QA with zero effort. We write and maintain automated tests using cutting-edge technology and specialized QA Engineers. As a foundational member of our growing team, you will create and maintain automated tests for customers, delivering a magical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain tests in JavaScript/Playwright
  • Understand HTML and CSS
  • Use Chrome DevTools to debug and reproduce failures
  • Work on multiple customer accounts while staying organized
  • Unblock yourself by reading documentation
  • Collaborate with the team to improve tooling and best practices
  • Help shape QA Engineering at an early-stage startup

Requirements

  • Technical proficiency in JavaScript/Playwright, HTML, and CSS
  • Effective and proactive communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts
  • Self-starter mindset with a quick learning ability

Schedule

This is a full-time role (~40 hours a week). In almost all cases, you will be expected to work standard hours (e.g., Monday–Friday, around 9am–5pm in your time zone).

Pay

Starting salary of $80,000 USD per year (converted to British pounds if necessary), with opportunities for promotion.
