Job Title: Junior Recruiter Industry: Beverage Manufacturing & Distribution Location: Landover, MD Assignment Type: Contract, approximately 6 months Pay: $22 – $25 / Hour (based on experience) Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8:30 AM–4:30 PM); primarily in-office with some flexibility for hybrid format Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Job Description: We're looking for an organized, motivated, and proactive Junior Recruiter to join a growing Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you'll help drive full-cycle recruiting for high-volume, field-based hiring needs, working closely with hiring managers and senior recruiters to keep candidate pipelines moving. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their recruiting career who wants hands-on experience across the entire hiring process. Key Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers and senior team members to understand open roles and hiring prioritiesSource candidates through job boards, social platforms, referrals, and professional networkingBuild and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified candidates for both current and upcoming openingsReview resumes and conduct initial phone interviewsCoordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teamsRepresent the employer brand by clearly communicating role details and benefits to candidatesKeep candidate information current and accurate within the applicant tracking systemSupport pre-employment steps such as background checks, drug screenings, and required assessmentsFollow up consistently to ensure a smooth, positive experience for every candidateHelp maintain relationships with outside partners, including schools and community organizationsAssist with hiring metrics and recruiting activity reportsRepresent the company at job fairs and other recruiting events as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience1–3 years of Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience hiring for manufacturing, distribution, or construction industriesStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesValid driver's license requiredPHR certification is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Familiarity with an HCM/ATS platform preferred Additional Details Fast-paced environment supporting a large, multi-site workforceIdeal candidate is coachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative rather than waiting for direction Perks Opportunity to gain broad, hands-on full-cycle recruiting experienceSupportive, hands-on training from senior recruiting staff Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
