Junior Product Photographer (Part-Time)

Description ProShot Media is a product photography studio in Downtown LA. We shoot clean, professional product images for e-commerce and Amazon brands. We're hiring a part-time assistant to start at the bottom and learn the craft from the ground up: shooting, color, and quality control. This is a training track. The right person will be developed over time to eventually run the entire photography department, with pay increasing at each stage as you take on more responsibility. What You'll Do (in this assistant role, in order of priority) Prep shoots: steaming, organizing, and prepping productsAssist on shoots: styling products, swapping products in and out, keeping the set movingLogistics: pickup, dropoff, and returns of client productsStudio upkeep: small tasks, errands, keeping things neatShoot BTS on iPhone and post to socialOn slower days: help build and document our studio systems, assist with video Position it leads to (the training track) This role is built to grow. Once you've got the basics down, we train you in the actual craft, in this order:Shooting products to our standardsColor correctionQuality control As you take ownership of each stage, your day rate goes up. The end goal is you running the entire photography department.
