Junior Power Platform Developer
About the role
Dewberry is seeking a Junior Power Platform Developer for our Fairfax, VA or Tampa, FL office. Dewberry’s Geospatial and Technology Services creates geospatial and analytical solutions for real-world engineering, environmental, and community problems. Our analysts perform a variety of data services for our clients including data management, governance, analysis, transformation, automation, and visualization.

Responsibilities
- Work with senior developers to create internal and client-facing solutions within Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Pages and Power Apps
- Perform needs assessments to identify application and visualization requirements
- Design data storage solutions in SharePoint lists, Microsoft Dataverse, and SQL
- Develop user acceptance testing and documentation
- Maintain and support applications according to changing business/mission requirements
- Work on consulting projects for government and commercial clients
- Participate in testing, supporting and deploying tools and preparing technical documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, GIS or other relevant geospatial or data science related field with 0-3 years of professional experience
- Desire to grow as a developer using Microsoft Power Platform products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving, design development, and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently using strong organizational skills and operate effectively in team settings using an agile software development approach
- An understanding of GIS is beneficial but not required
- U.S. citizenship capable of passing a federal background investigation to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Pay
The projected salary range for this position is $81,000–$104,000 annually in our Tampa, FL office. Depending on skills, experience, location, and market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
