Junior Norwegian Content Reviewer (E-commerce) - Remote (USA)

About the role

We are launching a massive, high-volume project to refine and perfect localized product descriptions for a global e-commerce giant. We need a dynamic team of sharp linguists, language students, and creative wordsmiths to ensure our digital catalog reads fluently, naturally, and speaks directly to Norwegian consumers with flawless cultural accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate e-commerce product descriptions for accuracy, tone, and readability
• Ensure the content doesn't just sound translated, but resonates naturally with Norwegian consumers
• Identify and correct grammatical errors, awkward phrasing, and unnatural text to ensure a polished final product
• Evaluate and grade localized content against specific style guides to maintain high standards of accuracy and readability

Requirements

This is a junior-friendly role, making it the perfect stepping stone for students or aspiring localization professionals. We are looking for:

• Native-level fluency in Norwegian (written and spoken) with an exceptional grasp of grammar, slang, and cultural nuances
• Strong proficiency in English (source guidelines and project communication will be in English)
• Current students in Linguistics, Translation, Nordic Studies, Communications, or related fields are highly encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in translation, editing, or linguistic work is a plus
• A tech-savvy mindset and the ability to learn new annotation platforms quickly
• Reliable internet connection and a laptop/computer
