Junior NOC Analyst

About the role

Camping World is seeking a Junior Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join our IT team in Bowling Green, KY.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Network/Server/Application performance and system alerts to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform regular system health checks, including reviewing logs and system alerts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and system incidents, escalating issues to higher-level support when necessary.
• Document incidents, issues, and resolutions in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless network operations.
• Participate in the development and implementation of network policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support to users and other stakeholders as needed.
• Aid in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance network performance.

Requirements

• Intermediate understanding of PC computers, networks, and communications.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office desktop tools and perform routine file system maintenance within the Windows environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills - including the use of written, electronic, and oral communication.
• The ability to work in a shift-based environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• May require on-call availability for critical incidents.
• Able to provide support over the phone to users.
• Sit for extended periods while monitoring systems and responding to incidents.
• Occasional lifting of equipment and devices may be required.

Qualifications

• This role requires the flexibility to rotate between shifts to support business operations.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-5 years of experience in network monitoring, network support, or a similar role within an IT environment.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, OpManager, Splunk).
• Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• The ability to work under pressure and handle urgent issues promptly and effectively.

Pay

General Compensation Disclosure The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below. Pay Range: $21.91-$26.31 Hourly
