About the role
MV Transportation is seeking a self-starting, highly motivated Junior Network Admin to work in a fast-paced transit environment, supporting both corporate infrastructure and client control-center operations. The role involves handling technology issues, providing IT support for approximately 50 desktops and 15 notebooks across production and training environments, and assisting with remote support for providers accessing client IT systems. After-hours or weekend support may be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide desktop, telephone, application, and network support for MV’s IT environment.
- Resolve IT-related issues for internal clients at all levels, including remote support for providers.
- Assist with procurement of software, hardware, and IT supplies for the Mobility Transportation client contract.
- Maintain company assets responsibly.
- Support Trapeze scheduling, routing, dispatch, eligibility, and customer service applications for MV and client staff.
- Develop best practices and recommend system improvements to optimize Trapeze environments.
- Assist with testing, installation, implementation, and training for application upgrades and new tools.
- Create and edit documentation related to installed applications.
- Support and manage Push-to-Talk (PTT) radios for the control center and multiple providers, including assigning, labeling, programming, and replacing devices.
- Maintain PTT radios, including charging devices, managing spare batteries, and tracking sign-out sheets for overflow dispatch staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Highly proficient with Trapeze transit software.
- Proficiency with Active Directory, relational databases (MS SQL Server preferred), and networking.
- Experience with major IT systems, services, and technology frameworks (e.g., cloud computing, server virtualization, application delivery controllers).
- Thorough understanding of computer, server, network, printer, and peripheral hardware.
- Experience supporting Windows 7, 10, Server 2012 & 2016, and Microsoft Office applications.
Desired Qualifications

Pay
Starting pay is $32.00 per hour.
