Junior Model-Based Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Self starter to performs tasks with minimal guidance up to the level of leading the execution of complex tasks.
• Learns and demonstrates knowledge in area of engineering expertise.
• Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan and design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
• Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
• Applies beginning systems engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
• Initial analysis, design, development, implementation, testing and evaluation of software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military systems, associated support systems.

Qualifications

• Must be working towards a degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university or hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university.
• Additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience in Systems Engineering with Model-Based Engineering/digital Engineering applications and technology is required.
• IT related certifications preferred.
• Must have minimum of minimum of four (4) years recent and relevant Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering/Digital Engineering applications and technology.
• Experience using MBSE Tools, such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator is preferred.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher and able to obtain one.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $95,000/year to $125,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
