Junior Level Property Management Logistics Specialist

About the role

The role involves providing ELMS training and subject matter expertise in property management logistics. Responsibilities include assisting in the establishment and execution of inventory plans, collaborating on asset identification, and supporting the implementation of property policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide ELMS training and subject matter expertise.
• Support the use of the APSR for property management.
• Collaborate with command assigned N4 Command Property Branch to identify assets.
• Assist in the definition and documentation of property management processes.
• Conduct causative research on misplaced property and APSR data discrepancies.
• Support property program continuity and continuity of command.
• Deploy the APSR and establish local property management programs.
• Support assigned Echelon III command with historical archive research.
• Train users and custodians on the use of the APSR.
• Conduct OJT training sessions for small groups.

Requirements

• Two (2) years’ experience providing logistics support to users of major government systems and/or logistics operations.
• One (1) year experience on the deployment, use, and training with APSR peripheral equipment.
• One (1) year experience with accountable property cataloging actions.
• One (1) year experience with managing and implementing the unique requirements of Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S).
• One (1) year experience with managing and implementing the unique requirements of General Equipment (GE).
• One (1) year experience using ELMS to support data calls and developing reports.
• One (1) year experience with ELMS Warehouse Management Module (ELMS WM).
• One (1) year experience with ELMS Property Accountability Module (ELMS PA).
• One (1) year experience complying with accountable property guidance and/or instructions.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ experience providing logistics support to users of major government systems and/or logistics operations.
• One (1) year experience on the deployment, use, and training with APSR peripheral equipment such as handheld terminals (HHTs), tethered scanners, signature pads, and specific label printers, or similar AIT equipment.
• One (1) year experience with accountable property cataloging actions with expertise in all features, functions, and capabilities within Web Federal Logistics Information System (WebFLIS), SOCOM Catalog Request Module (SOCM), Equipment Management Interface (EMI), and Federal Logistics Data (FED LOG).
• One (1) year experience with executing requisitions and troubleshooting challenges within government Logistics IT systems for both Major Force Program 2 (MFP-2) and Major Force Program 11 (MFP-11) equipment, material, and supplies.
• One (1) year experience with managing and implementing the unique requirements encompassing the accountability of Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) to include such items as inventory for resale, spare and repair parts, and clothing and textiles.
• One (1) year experience with managing and implementing the unique requirements encompassing the accountability of General Equipment (GE).
• One (1) year experience using ELMS to support data calls and developing reports and dashboards metrics concerning property management.
• One (1) year experience with all features, functions, and capabilities contained within the ELMS Warehouse Management Module (ELMS WM).
• One (1) year experience with features, functions, and capabilities contained within the ELMS Property Accountability Module (ELMS PA).
• One (1) year experience complying with the following accountable property guidance and/or instructions; CNSWCINST 4460.1F, CNSWCINST 5200.45, SOCOM Directive 700-2, SOCOM Directive 700-3.
