Junior Landscape Designer

We are seeking a talented & passionate Landscape Architect / Designer with 2-5 years experience for the San Francisco office of WRT. Design practice ranges from planning to detailed landscape architectural design and implementation for parks, waterfronts, urban revitalization studies, urban parks, streetscapes, campus and institutional projects, and coastal resilience and climate adaptation projects. Pay Range: $73,000 -$78,000 Responsibilities include:Involvement in all stages of project development from concept to implementationAttend and prepare for public presentations and client meetingsPrepare and iterate on illustrative graphicsParticipate in fieldwork and engagement events The ideal candidate will have:A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture2-5 years of experienceCommitment to design excellence, community resiliency, social equity, ecological function, and urban revitalizationStrong design, and graphic communicationStrong computer skills (including AutoCAD, 3D Modeling, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Suite)Verbal and written communication skillsExperience with construction documentation and implementationKnowledge of local California plant materials, and skills in community engagement are desirable Desired Qualifications (but not mandatory):Licensure would be an additional plus!Spanish speaking / writing language skills are an additional plus!
