Junior Lab Engineer - (RTP)

About the role

This is a long-term, on-site opportunity for recent graduates or career-changers looking to kick-start a career in networking. Gain hands-on experience in state-of-the-art global labs, work on real-world network setups supporting enterprise clients, and fast-track your career with mentorship from experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment in global labs
• Work closely with senior engineers on real customer cases
• Set up routers, switches, VLANs, and network segments
• Use IXIA, Spirent, VMware, Catalyst, Nexus, and XR products
• Troubleshoot Layer 1 & 2 networking issues

Requirements

• Foundational networking knowledge (topologies, troubleshooting, VLANs)
• Hands-on experience with Packet Tracer & CLI
• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
• Motivated, self-starter who loves technology and learning
• Ability to work in a data center environment (lifting up to 50 lbs, ladder work)
