Junior Java Developer
About the role
The Junior Developer will support the JPES/JCRM applications under the guidance of senior development personnel. Responsibilities include implementing lower-complexity enhancements, correcting software defects, developing unit tests, supporting documentation and code maintenance, participating in code reviews, supporting automated testing and release activities, and executing assigned Agile backlog items.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- Four years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- One to three years of software development experience
- Java programming experience
- Basic SQL and Git knowledge
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices
- U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance eligibility
Qualifications
- Preferred: Spring/Spring Boot, React, Agile development experience, DoD software experience
Benefits
Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000
Base salary offers are determined based on the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
