Responsibilities
- Aid the Team Leader in conducting in-depth inspections of various types of bridges and structures.
- Take precise measurements and document any movement, deterioration, or damage to structural members.
- Create detailed structure inspection reports based on field measurements and findings.
- Create CADD drawings to document field conditions.
- Aid in scheduling and planning the team's activities according to structure priorities.
- Prepare clear and concise Daily Inspection Reports, documenting work performed, manpower, material, and equipment used, and other pertinent information.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills.
- A highly motivated and responsible individual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid US Driver's License.
- Willingness to travel within North Carolina.
- Associate's Degree or higher (preferred).
- NCDOT Inspection experience (preferred).
