Junior Inspector

Responsibilities

• Aid the Team Leader in conducting in-depth inspections of various types of bridges and structures.
• Take precise measurements and document any movement, deterioration, or damage to structural members.
• Create detailed structure inspection reports based on field measurements and findings.
• Create CADD drawings to document field conditions.
• Aid in scheduling and planning the team's activities according to structure priorities.
• Prepare clear and concise Daily Inspection Reports, documenting work performed, manpower, material, and equipment used, and other pertinent information.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills.
• A highly motivated and responsible individual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid US Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel within North Carolina.
• Associate's Degree or higher (preferred).
• NCDOT Inspection experience (preferred).
