Junior Infrastructure Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support to factory users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and replace desktops, laptops, and other IT equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve local network connectivity issues involving LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, cabling, and access points.
  • Monitor the local IT infrastructure and escalate incidents when necessary.
  • Support VMware virtual environments, including basic virtual machine monitoring, troubleshooting, and administration.
  • Affiliate with the operation and monitoring of Fortinet firewalls, VPN connections, and network security policies.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access according to company procedures.
  • Document incidents, solutions, infrastructure changes, and technical procedures.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets, software licenses, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and regional or global IT teams.
  • Follow cybersecurity, data protection, health, and safety policies.
  • Provide timely support for business-critical manufacturing operations and minimize service disruptions.
  • Be available to travel to other manufacturing sites as needed to provide technical support and assist with infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent work experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or infrastructure support is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Fortinet firewalls and FortiGate solutions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and standard enterprise applications.
  • Basic understanding of IT security practices, VPNs, access control, and endpoint protection.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to document technical information clearly and accurately.
  • Intermediate English skills are preferred.
  • Availability to work on-site and provide occasional support outside regular business hours, when required.
