About the Role
We are currently seeking a Junior Information Assurance Analyst to join our team. This role requires a strong background in Information System Security Management, including monitoring, auditing, and analyzing information, ensuring system reliability and accessibility, and preventing unauthorized access.
Responsibilities
The Junior Information Assurance Analyst will be responsible for:
- Performing risk analyses using tools like STIGs, ACAS, and ESS
- Tracking and managing security vulnerabilities
- Complying with DoD 8570, 8500, 8510, 8551, and CJCSI 6510.01f
- Ensuring compliance with IAT Level II
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Have an active Secret clearance
- Have two to four years of relevant experience
- Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework process for certification of DoD systems
- Experience with IA vulnerability alerts, bulletins, and technical advisories
- Understanding and compliance with DoD 8570, 8500, 8510, 8551, and CJCSI 6510.01f
- IAT Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8140

Pay
The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is $57,809 to $64,491. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
