Responsibilities
- Implement instructional activities that foster an engaging learning environment.
- Select and modify instructional resources to cater to diverse student needs.
- Guide students through various activities to promote their social, physical, and intellectual development.
- Audit and improve curriculum based on changing needs.
- Maintain accurate and organized records.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with peers to enhance the educational environment.
- Model professional and ethical conduct.
- Evaluate student progress and celebrate achievements.
- Inspire students to uphold our values and exhibit good character.
- Lift objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Travel between campuses as required.
- Participate in training and staff meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Valid SEI Endorsement/Certification or ability to obtain a teaching certificate from within the state.
- Pass a criminal history background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- A current teaching certificate from within the state.
Physical And Travel Requirements / Work Environment
- Travel between campuses as required.
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 25 pounds.
- Sitting for long periods.
- Talking on the phone.
- Kneeling, stooping, and long periods of concentration.
