Junior Graphic Designer
Our retail client is seeking two Junior Graphic Designers to assist their Global Creative Studio team with production of global and regional digital marketing kits.
About the role
This teammate must be an organized, dependable individual who is great at collaboration, communication, and needs to be able to multi-task overlapping projects while staying on deadlines. The candidate will be taking creative direction and feedback often from several teammates, with quick and efficient turnaround expected. The ideal candidate is creative, flexible, self-directed, and a problem solver with attention to detail, accustomed to working in a busy design department. This is a production-focused role with limited original artwork creation. Soft skills such as friendliness, humility, and grace under pressure are essential.
This role is 40 hours per week, 6–12 months in duration, and hybrid (3 days per week onsite in Boston).
Responsibilities
- Execute a variety of creative projects under the direction of Lead Designers or the Creative Director, including global and regional emails, site components, social media assets, affiliate banners, out-of-home (OOH), and occasional print advertising.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high creative output and meeting deadlines.
- Keep Lead Designers and the Global Ops Coordinator informed of any issues that may arise.
- Route creative for approvals, follow up to keep deadlines on track, and prepare/upload final working files to the DAM system.
- Adhere strictly to brand guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in design.
- 2+ years of work experience creating and designing special projects.
- Proven knowledge and success working across a variety of formats.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Prior experience with project workflow management apps such as Asana or ProWorkflow (preferred).
Decision-Making Authority
The Junior Graphic Designer will receive direction from a Lead Designer and does not have independent decision-making authority on artwork.
Access to client or customer systems, confidential, or proprietary information may be required. This is an onsite role requiring close collaboration with a team.
