They support trusted advisors by combining modern technology, professional support, and human oversight, ensuring advisors remain central to the estate planning process while helping clients complete and fund their plans without practicing law. The organization is a small, fast-moving team focused on customer impact, product design, and AI-assisted development.

About the Opportunity

The Junior Full Stack Software Engineer role is designed for someone who enjoys building products, solving problems, and learning continuously. Working closely with technical leadership, product teams, and fellow engineers, you will develop and improve software used by financial advisors. This role combines hands-on development with product collaboration and end-to-end feature ownership, offering opportunities to deepen your technical expertise, product knowledge, and overall impact.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain product features with a focus on usability, reliability, and quality
  • Own features and projects from implementation through deployment, collaborating with teammates to deliver reliable software
  • Use modern AI development tools to accelerate coding, testing, research, and prototyping
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to understand customer needs and improve the product
  • Contribute to testing, observability, performance optimization, and developer tooling to enable confident and efficient releases
  • Continuously develop technical expertise, product thinking, and customer understanding to expand your impact

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience
  • Experience working in a startup, small-team, or entrepreneurial environment is strongly preferred
  • Experience shipping and maintaining production software
  • Experience owning features from implementation through deployment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of ownership
  • Commitment to code quality, maintainability, and thoughtful engineering practices
  • Experience incorporating AI development tools into your workflow
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working across the full technology stack and learning new technologies
  • Proactive in improving products, engineering practices, and team processes
  • Thrives in small teams that value flexibility, initiative, and continuous learning

Pay

$100,000–$130,000 USD annually, depending on experience.
